Made from amorphous silica, Propasil appears as a hard, semitransparent granular substance. Its moisture-absorbing capacity is not only great, but also varies depending on ambient conditions. Propasil was developed to protect the product from damage caused by moisture. Thanks to its capacity of absorbing, Propasil reduces the dew point inside the packing during shipment, the product consequently preserves its qualities and properties of use that humidity could modify.
Some of the main applications:
- Packaging - Electronics - Pharmaceuticals - Foodstuffs
