PROPATECH VCI FOAM is impregnated with PROPATECH VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) for the protection of iron, steel, copper, brass, bronze and other metals that must absolutely avoid contact with any kind of dust. Widely used in the electrical and electronic industries, they have a high emission capacity, even over long periods. The PROPATECH VCI emitted neutralises possible aggressive agents in the environment, thus protecting metals via both direct contact and at a distance. PROPATECH VCI sublimates to create a gaseous complex that, once the wrapping is saturated, settles on the surfaces of the metals, protecting even the most awkward areas such as, holes, fissures, internal ducts, etc.
PROPATECH VCI FOAM is particularly suitable for supplementing and reinforcing the anticorrosive action in very large packs over long distances, even in critical climatic conditions.
For very large manufactured goods, PROPATECH VCI FOAM may be applied in points of the packaging that are more difficult to protect and can also be supplied with a self-adhesive band.
